Color & Memory: Works by Elena Vasquez

Abstract painting with vivid colors from Color and Memory exhibition

"Color & Memory" presents 35 paintings by Elena Vasquez, spanning two decades of her career exploring the intersections of personal memory, cultural heritage, and chromatic expression.

About the Exhibition

Vasquez's large-scale canvases use vivid color fields to evoke the emotional landscapes of memory. Drawing on her Mexican-American heritage, the works reference family gatherings, childhood landscapes, and the passage of time through shifting palettes that range from sun-drenched yellows and oranges to contemplative blues and violets.
