Our History
Founded in 1988 by philanthropist and art collector Robert Meridian, the foundation has grown from a small private gallery into a comprehensive arts center with exhibition spaces, artist studios, education programs, and a nationally recognized grant program.
What We Do
- Present 28 exhibitions annually in our gallery spaces
- Award over $1.8 million in artist grants and fellowships each year
- Host an artist residency program supporting 12 artists annually
- Operate youth and adult arts education programs serving 3,000 students
- Maintain a permanent collection of over 800 artworks
- Host performances, lectures, and community events year-round
